In June, at the 3daysofdesign event, Normann Copenhagen opened its doors to a sensory journey at its headquarters in Copenhagen. In honor of its 25th anniversary, the ELEMENTS of Normann exhibition showcased the company's history, present, and future. The event launched an inspiring collection of new products and presented the brand's classic pieces.

Normann Copenhagen's first product release of 2024 is called Mat (short for material). The Mat chair collection is the result of years of research and testing, cleverly utilizing renewable and sustainable materials such as hemp and seaweed. Mat brings something entirely new to the world of project interior design, while simultaneously challenging the production methods, environmental impact, and ecological lifecycle of traditional materials.

Swede Johan Runströmer became tired of conventional and unattractive extension cords in 2019, which inspired him to develop a new, more stylish alternative. This led to the creation of design studio Avolt and its first product, the Square 1 design extension cord, perfectly suited for interior design. The brand presented four stunning new chairs at the Milan fair: Loop, Mickey, Hagu, and Ample.
